Shyla Cross was born on Haida Gwaii and raised in Skidegate, her parents are famed carver Robert Cross and her mother is Jenny Cross, storyteller, teacher and drummer. Shyla makes beautiful jewellery from shells, beads and cedar. Shyla is a traditional Haida weaver.
