 Glen was Born on Haida Gwaii in 1957,  He is a member of the eagle clan of Tanu. He started drawing at age 8 in Alert Bay. After Glen left Alert Bay back to Haida Gwaii he began carving argillite at age 15 in Masset and continued his work in Skidegate.

Glen started carving wood and silver in the 1980’s but he eventually came back to argillite the medium he prefers ever since. Glen has had an artistic career that now spans 50 years. He has a unique style, and his work is sought after by collectors all over the world.
