Wayne Wilson was born in Skidegate, Haida Gwaii on December 12, 1949. Wayne first had an apprenticeship with noted Haida artist and teacher, Gordon Cross. Since the early 1980’s, Wayne has set a distinct style of designs he portrays in argillite, silver and gold.
