Clayton has been studying Haida art since his early teen years with many Skidegate Teacher, most notably Bill Reid. High School art teachers introduced many different mediums. Claytons preferred mediums are wood, precious metal, leather, paint, textiles and print. His style emulates the old classical Skidegate Haida Masters with his own original design. He feels that the supernaturals left us an awesome legacy and are there to show us the way.
